SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS
Pit Instruction & Training is excited to offer four scholarships to welding students who have already completed a Pit Weld U introductory class.
The vocational scholarships are awarded to students who have completed PWU100 or PWU200 and are looking to continue their welding education at Pit Weld U.
Local business partners have generously donated to make these scholarships possible for Pit Weld U students. Proceeds from Carry-On Trailers, Trumpf, Southern Fabricators Inc., Fronius, Bruning & Federle Manufacturing, Lower Steel, American Welding Society and Southern States Machinery and it's affiliates seed these scholarships.
The scholarships can be used toward tuition, materials, and fees associated with the recipient’s chosen welding class at Pit Weld U.
Monies from our partners are sent directly to the recipient’s school account to apply to expenses.
Recipients are selected based on:
Academic Record
Pit Weld U attendance
Leadership
Extracurricular activities in school & or community
Work experience

Deadlines:
Novemeber 1st is the application deadline for any January through June class.
June 1st is the application deadline for any July through December class.
SCHOLARSHIP
PIT Weld U has partnered with Carry-On Trailers to offer a scholarship to a deserving candidate for 2024 Pit Weld U classes.
The scholarship will cover the full tuition for a Pit Weld U 100 or 200 class. Students will build a trailer like the one pictured below. Once built the trailer will be raffled off. Proceeds from the raffle will be put towards future scholarship offerings.
