WELDING EDUCATION BUILT AROUND THE STUDENT
At Pit Weld U, students learn by doing. Approximately 75% of class time devoted to developing practical welding skills and less time sitting behind a desk.
Our programs emphasize practical skill development in a working shop environment, with student-to-instructor ratios maintained at 12:1 or lower to support individual instruction and hands-on learning.

AWS WELDER TESTING & INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION

Pit Weld U is home to an American Welding Society Accredited Testing Facility (ATF) and provides AWS welder testing in addition to its welding and fabrication training programs.
Testing services include on-site third-party code testing, providing students and industry professionals access to welding qualification testing at the PIT facility.
Select educational pathways may incorporate opportunities to pursue industry credentials as students progress through their training.
